International safety scores use the equivalent national source — data.police.uk reports in the UK, BKA and Landeskriminalamt statistics in Germany, and CBS data in the Netherlands.

School scores weigh the number and proximity of nearby primary and secondary schools, drawn from the Department of Basic Education's National Masterlist; affordability compares typical rent against local median household income.
